Mongolia: Adoption Requirements

Age
The age requirement for Mongolia is that each applicant be at least 25 years old at the time your dossier is registered with Mongolia. Generally there should be no more than 45 years age difference between the mother and the child although this rule is flexible.

Finances
Mongolia requires that a family’s income can support the addition of a child.

Children
Mongolia places no restriction on how many children are already in your home. Referrals of boys and girls are available. Siblings are occasionally available.

Marital Status
Married couples and single women may apply to adopt from Mongolia.

Faith
In accordance with Small World’s mission statement, our Mongolia program is open to Christian families only.
